Ilya Shutov has over 20 years of experience in computer graphics and visual effects. He is the Founder and Creative Producer of Black Point, as well as a Visual Effects Director known for his work on numerous high-profile films and series, including The Equalizer 3, Cyberfarm, Kapitan Volkonogov Escaped, To the Lake, Salyut-7, Viking, Attraction, and Metro.
Ilya has built a distinguished career supervising VFX for more than 60 titles across film and television. His creative vision and technical expertise have shaped some of the most visually ambitious projects in the region, leading to the creation of Black Point’s distinctive cinematic style and the globally recognized Cyberfarm universe.
Alexey Fomin is the Head of Studio, VFX Director, and Creative Producer at Black Point.
With over 15 years of experience in film, television, and interactive storytelling, he brings together artistic vision and technical mastery to create cinematic worlds of exceptional depth and scale.
As the founder of Black Point Studio and co-creator of the acclaimed Birchpunk / Cyberfarm universe, Alexey leads the studio’s creative and technological direction — uniting cutting-edge innovation with narrative purpose. Alexey has also led VFX production on major titles such as The Equalizer 3, To the Lake, and Anna K (Netflix Originals).Under his leadership, Black Point has delivered high-end visual effects for international series, commercials, and immersive experiences.
Combining artistry, technical innovation, and strategic thinking, he is driving the studio’s global expansion.
Olga Kurenkova is a film and television producer with a strong track record in scripted series, feature films, and non-fiction projects.
Her credits include To the lake, Dead Mountain: The Dyatlov Pass Incident, Magic Precinct, Insomnia, Call Center, The Blackout and a many other series and shows for leading streaming platforms and broadcasters.
Olga collaborates closely with Black Point and partner studios, overseeing projects from development and financing through production and final delivery.
Combining creative intuition with production expertise, she focuses on building sustainable workflows and bringing distinctive, story-driven content to international audiences.
Ksenia Akimenko has over a decade of experience in Visual Effects production.
She has worked on more than 40 feature films and TV series, including The Equalizer 3, Journey to China: The Mystery of Iron Mask, To the Lake, Dyatlov Pass, Birchpunk etc.
Her background includes collaborations with international studios across multiple countries, managing complex VFX pipelines and large creative teams.
Before joining the Black Point team as Executive Producer, Ksenia worked on several award-winning shows such as Anna K (Netflix Originals) and To the Lake, contributing to some of the most visually compelling storytelling in modern television.
Evgeny Shmeerov is the Head of 3D and FX at Black Point. With over a decade of experience in film production, he has contributed to numerous international and feature projects such as The Equalizer 3, Journey to China: The Mystery of Iron Mask, To the Lake, Dyatlov Pass, Birchpunk etc.
Evgeny began his career as an FX and 3D Artist, developing a strong expertise in complex simulations, environments, and procedural workflows. Today, he leads Black Point’s 3D department and co-manages the studio’s production processes, focusing on technical innovation and the continuous evolution of the studio’s visual language.
His approach blends precision, creativity, and efficiency — making him a key figure in shaping Black Point’s signature look and production quality.
Frederick Lissau has 30 years of experience in Animation and Visual Effects. He has worked for multiple companies across 3 Continents, 4 Countries and 7 cities. Most recently he was an Executive Producer at MPC; before joining the Black Point team as our Business Development Director.
Frederick was also recently elected to the Visual Effects Society’s Board of Directors.
